SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Palladian Group on Tuesday launched ELYSIAN, a women-centric quarterly magazine that will be distributed regionally.
Greek in origin, ELYSIAN means beautiful or creative, divinely inspired, peaceful and perfect. It’s an appropriate name for a magazine that seeks to inform and enrich the lives of its readers.
“In this magazine, we seek to showcase the best this region has to offer,” Publisher Karen Floyd said. “From couture fashion and fine dining to interviews with some of the area’s most exceptional women, ELYSIAN’s pages are filled with beauty.”
The magazine officially launched when a large image of the first cover was revealed on the front of The Palladian Group building in downtown Spartanburg. Magazines will then be distributed to homes and businesses in the Upstate and Western North Carolina. An accompanying website, READELYSIAN.com features exclusive web content, such as video interviews and how-to cooking videos.
“Launching ELYSIAN has been an exciting venture,” Editor-in-Chief Jeff Zehr said. “Going forward, our goal is to continue creating an exceptional magazine that will be proudly displayed on coffee tables and at businesses throughout the region.”
